I was born on July 21, 1973, in Santa Monica, California. I studied at U.C. Berkeley and U.C.L.A. and I’ve been working with visual art as a photographer and painter for over fifteen years. I spent a good portion of the previous decade working as a photographer in Los Angeles shooting fashion, fitness, glamour, entertainment, and architecture. My years of portraiture work has taught me how to help people relax and have fun in front of the camera. I never forget how much that matters.
In August 2008, upon desiring a change of scenery and new inspiration, I moved to the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kauai. Here, on this extraordinary island, I've expanded the range of my camera and clients to include Kauai wedding photography, family portraits and children, maternity, architecture and real estate, aerial shoots from helicopters, and underwater imagery. It's been a great adventure! I've also been shooting with growing frequency on the other Hawaiian islands. The flights between the islands are short and inexpensive, and I am pleased to travel anywhere for jobs and clients who appreciate fine photography.
I came to Kauai to live and work amidst the rhythms and energy of this stunning landscape. With my camera in hand, I love observing the happiness and gratitude that people radiate across this enchanted island. My goals with photography are to exceed my client's expectations, to always aim my camera with my eyes and heart, to be as creative as I can whenever possible, to capture beauty and honest expressions of emotion, and to take pictures which are visually captivating and remain so over time.
If you're looking for a professional photographer, I would love to discuss what I can do for you.
